Find Love Safely in
the Twin Cities

Find Love Safely in Minneapolis/St. Paul
Find Love Safely supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the Twin Cities metro area who are looking for friendship, dating, or meaningful connection — with safety, respect, and dignity at the center.
The Twin Cities is one of our most established Find Love Safely communities (and where it all began!), with an active and growing network of members, caregivers, and inclusive events designed to support connection over time.

Members in the Twin Cities receive the full Find Love Safely experience, including:
- Personalized, human-led matchmaking
- Clear expectations around boundaries, consent, and respectful behavior
- Optional virtual workshops* and one-on-one coaching
- Ongoing communication and check-ins as part of a thoughtful, relationship-based process
Because this is an established community, members have access to regular local events in addition to virtual offerings.
*Virtual workshops are included with the Essentials and Concierge programs. All members who join in newly launched cities receive complimentary access to live virtual workshops for their first three months as a thank-you for helping build the local community. After this initial period, ongoing workshop access is based on the program selected.
Program Options
Members in the Twin Cities may choose from three program options:

Local Events & Community
The Twin Cities community hosts a variety of inclusive social events designed to support comfort, safety, and connection. Events may include small-group gatherings, structured social activities, and speed-dating-style experiences.
Event offerings vary throughout the year, and participation is always optional.

Caregiver Involvement
Some members participate independently, while others involve caregivers or support staff more closely. There is no single “right” level of involvement.
Support preferences are discussed during enrollment and the intake call and can be adjusted over time. Our goal is to balance independence, safety, and clear communication in a way that feels respectful and appropriate for each individual.
"The whole thing has been extremely positive. The opportunity for her to have real-life situations where she has to take responsibility and ownership to set up the dates, carry on conversations during the dates, and do the appropriate follow-up. Having that reciprocity of relationship and responsibility has been remarkable. We have seen tremendous growth in her skill sets."
