Our Team
Meet the people behind the care, guidance, and heart of Find Love Safely.

People first. Always.
Find Love Safely is built by a team of real humans who believe that everyone deserves safe, meaningful connection — and that relationships should be approached with care, dignity, and respect.
Our team brings together experience in disability support, education, coaching, community-building, and family advocacy. We work closely with members and caregivers to understand individual needs, move at the right pace, and create an environment where people feel supported — not rushed or pressured.
We don’t rely on algorithms or automation. We rely on listening, thoughtful matching, clear communication, and a shared commitment to safety and kindness.
Every interaction — whether it’s a first introduction, a coaching session, or a community event — is guided by the same belief: connection should feel safe, empowering, and human.
Katherine Gyolai
"I designed the kind of dating service I want for my children."
Katherine is a mom and stepmom to 8 wonderful adult children — 4 of whom have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Her children, just like you, want to find a special someone to share their lives with. But as their parent and guardian, Katherine knows that online dating and apps are not a safe choice for them.
Inspired by Netflix's Love on the Spectrum and Down for Love, Katherine started this matchmaking service because she believes the best way to meet someone special is to be matched by a real human who cares deeply about people just like you.
In her spare time, Katherine is an ICF-certified individual and team coach, and a marketing consultant. She is also on a mission to make the system work better for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
