Find Love Safely
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 20, 2026
Welcome to Find Love Safely. By enrolling in our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Agreement and Parties
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between Find Love Safely, LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company (“Find Love Safely,” “FLS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and each person who purchases, enrolls in, accesses, supports, or uses our Services.
Our address is 20170 Oxboro Ln. N., Marine on St. Croix, MN 55047. Our general, billing, cancellation, safety-reporting, arbitration-opt-out, and legal-notice email is info@findlovesafely.com.
“Services” includes matchmaking, friendship matching, introductions, social events, virtual workshops, coaching, Compass, ScamCheck, recorded educational content, caregiver resources, websites, forms, communications, and related offerings.
“Member” means the person receiving or participating in Services. “Purchaser” means the person or organization paying. “Caregiver” or “Support Person” means a person supporting a Member who may not have legal authority. “Authorized Representative” means a guardian, conservator, attorney-in-fact, or other person with documented authority. “User” or “you” includes any of these people and any website or digital-tool user.
2. Electronic Acceptance
You accept these Terms by checking the required boxes, typing your name as an electronic signature, and selecting the final agreement-and-purchase button, or by completing another electronic process that clearly references these Terms.
Your electronic acceptance is intended to have the same legal effect as a handwritten signature. You consent to receive agreements, disclosures, confirmations, renewal notices, cancellation information, and service communications electronically.
Your agreement includes these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the plan and price shown at checkout, the automatic-renewal disclosure, any state-specific notice displayed before acceptance, and any service-specific waiver you separately accept.
If you do not agree, do not enroll or use the Services.
3. Who May Accept
The checkout process must identify whether the person accepting is the Member, Purchaser, Caregiver or Support Person, Authorized Representative, or funding organization.
A Purchaser is responsible for payment. A Member is responsible for Member conduct. A Caregiver or Support Person is responsible for information and commitments they personally provide. An Authorized Representative represents that their authority is current and accurate and agrees to provide documentation if requested.
When the Purchaser and Member are different, the Purchaser certifies that the Member wants to participate, has received or will receive an accessible explanation of relevant rules, and that the Purchaser has permission or appropriate authority to enroll the Member.
4. Member Assent and Autonomy
When the Purchaser and Member are different, Find Love Safely will ordinarily request a separate accessible Member acknowledgment after purchase. The Member may complete it electronically, with communication support, or through another documented method.
A helper may explain the acknowledgment or assist with technology but should not choose answers for the Member unless legally authorized and consistent with law.
Find Love Safely supports Member autonomy. When a Member can express a current preference about participation, privacy, caregiver involvement, contact, or a match, we will ordinarily defer to the Member unless law, documented authority, or a serious concern requires otherwise.
If a Member clearly does not want to participate, we may pause or end Services even if another person paid.
5. Eligibility
Matchmaking, friendship matching, adult events, adult workshops, and coaching are for adults age 18 or older.
Compass and ScamCheck are available only to users age 13 or older. A parent or legal guardian must authorize use by anyone age 13 through 17. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts or submit personal information.
Matchmaking is currently offered in California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, and Minnesota. Workshops and digital Services may be offered elsewhere, including internationally, subject to local law and our discretion.
6. Nature of Services
Find Love Safely offers supported pathways to friendship, connection, dating, relationships, education, and personal growth. Find Love Safely is not a dating app.
We are not an emergency service, health-care provider, psychotherapy practice, law firm, financial advisor, residential provider, personal-care provider, transportation provider, law-enforcement agency, adult-protection agency, or guarantor of safety or relationship success.
We do not assume custody or the legal duties of a guardian, residential provider, case manager, direct-support professional, transportation provider, or clinician.
7. Matching Process
Find Love Safely uses intake information to identify possible friendship, dating, or combined introductions.
We may consider age, location, travel distance, interests, goals, communication preferences, living situation, caregiver-involvement preferences, support considerations, and membership availability.
We send a proposed-match profile without first confirming that both people are interested. Each recipient independently decides whether to reach out or meet.
A proposed match is not an endorsement, certification, recommendation, guarantee of compatibility, or statement that the other person is interested.
Members and families contact one another directly. Find Love Safely does not supervise private messages, transportation, dates, visits, physical contact, financial exchanges, travel, cohabitation, or relationships.
We propose out-of-area or out-of-state matches only when both Members have opted into a broader search. A caregiver-only communication arrangement will not be matched with a no-caregiver arrangement unless preferences change.
8. Proposed-Match Profiles
A proposed-match profile may include the Member’s photograph, first name, age, city, connection goal, general living situation, short description, and the first name, email, and phone number of each person who agreed to share their contact information for matching.
The designated contact may be the Member, a Caregiver, or both. By submitting or approving profile information, each person authorizes its sharing with prospective matches for introductions.
Recipients may use the information only to consider or pursue the introduction and may not post, sell, distribute, scrape, solicit, harass, or use it for another purpose.
9. No Guarantee
We do not guarantee any number, timing, frequency, or type of matches; a response; a meeting; compatibility; friendship; dating; marriage; or any other outcome.
A Member may remain enrolled when no compatible match is available. Membership density, geography, age, preferences, support arrangements, and other factors may result in few matches or none.
The absence of a match or relationship is not a breach and does not create a refund right.
10. Accuracy of Information
Users must provide truthful, complete, and current information and promptly update material changes.
Users may not impersonate another person, use a misleading photograph, conceal materially relevant information, misrepresent legal authority, or knowingly allow false profile information to remain.
We may rely on submitted information without verifying every statement and may request clarification or documentation.
11. Screening
At enrollment, Find Love Safely currently uses an offenders.io integration to screen matchmaking Members and may also use public sex-offender information or other lawful sources.
We do not currently screen Purchasers, Caregivers, workshop-only participants, or ordinary event guests unless expressly stated. We do not currently perform independent identity verification, and screening is not presently repeated on a scheduled basis.
Databases may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, or associated with the wrong person. Screening may not reveal unreported conduct, pending matters, civil claims, financial exploitation, online conduct, or future behavior.
A screening result does not certify, clear, approve, or guarantee a person. We may deny, restrict, suspend, or end participation based on screening information or any other lawful concern.
12. Support and Accommodations
The Member and support team are responsible for transportation, communication support, personal care, medication assistance, mobility assistance, behavioral support, supervision, dietary support, technology assistance, and emergency planning.
Find Love Safely does not provide transportation, one-to-one supervision, personal care, medication administration, medical monitoring, transfers, feeding assistance, or toileting assistance.
We strongly recommend caregiver availability for Members with higher support needs but do not automatically require caregiver attendance.
We consider reasonable accommodation requests in accordance with law but cannot guarantee every request or Service can be provided.
13. Capacity and Personal Consent
Participation is not a legal or clinical determination that a Member has or lacks capacity to contract, consent to sexual activity, marry, manage money, travel, live independently, or make another decision.
No Purchaser, Caregiver, or Authorized Representative may supply a Member’s personal consent to friendship, romance, physical affection, sexual activity, marriage, gifts, financial transactions, or private communication when the law requires the Member’s own consent.
14. Community Standards
All participants must follow the Community Standards incorporated into these Terms.
Prohibited conduct includes violence, threats, harassment, bullying, stalking, discrimination, retaliation, coercion, unwanted sexual or romantic conduct, nonconsensual touching, pressure for money or gifts, scams, blackmail, impersonation, misuse of private information, recording without permission, disruption, weapons, illegal drugs, unauthorized alcohol, unauthorized guests, and attempts to evade restrictions.
A person must stop contacting someone who asks them to stop and may not pressure another Member for money, account access, passwords, banking information, housing, transportation, significant gifts, sexual images, or other things of value.
These standards may apply outside official activities when conduct materially affects eligibility, another participant, staff, or the community.
15. Reports and Protective Actions
Concerns may be reported to info@findlovesafely.com.
We may document a report, request information, restrict contact, cancel an introduction, require support, remove a participant, suspend a Service, terminate participation, contact approved support people, emergency services, law enforcement, adult-protection authorities, or take another reasonable action.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to respond to suspected abuse, exploitation, a credible threat, serious harm, an emergency, or a legal obligation.
We do not promise a formal investigation, a particular process or outcome, complete confidentiality, or disclosure of another person’s private information. Administrative restrictions are protective business decisions, not necessarily findings of wrongdoing.
Call 911 or local emergency services when immediate help is needed.
16. Privacy and Caregiver Communications
The Privacy Policy governs personal information and is incorporated into these Terms.
With permission or legal authority, we may share proposed matches, contact details, general workshop summaries, attendance, conduct concerns, billing information, and safety information with designated Caregivers or Support Persons.
A Member may ask us to stop sharing. We ordinarily defer to the Member’s current preference unless documented authority, contractual necessity, law, or a serious concern requires otherwise.
Caregiver summaries are general educational recaps, not clinical records, and ordinarily do not detail an individual Member’s statements.
17. Workshops
Virtual workshops are educational and social, not therapy, medical care, crisis services, or individualized professional advice.
They are ordinarily offered on the second and fourth Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. Central Time, but schedule, topic, facilitator, and format may change.
If we cancel, we may reschedule, provide a comparable recording or replacement, or provide an appropriate credit. Missed workshops do not create a refund or credit.
Participants may not record, photograph, screenshot, livestream, transcribe, or distribute workshop content or participant communications without permission.
Workshops may be recorded after advance notice and may be available in Compass. We will obtain consent required by law and use reasonable efforts to exclude identifiable participants who have not provided required permission.
18. Coaching
Coaching is educational and supportive, not psychotherapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, legal advice, financial advice, case management, or crisis intervention.
Add-on coaching costs $150 per 60-minute session and is currently available only to Members.
A session canceled with fewer than 24 hours’ notice or missed may be treated as used or nonrefundable.
Included Concierge sessions should ordinarily be used within the membership month, but the coach may allow rollover or rescheduling. We may change coaches, reschedule, or end an inappropriate or unproductive coaching relationship.
19. Events and Photography
Ordinary events are generally included for Members. Nonmembers may be charged the price displayed at registration, currently $20 for ordinary events.
Paid registrations are nonrefundable for no-shows or participant cancellations unless stated otherwise. If we cancel an event, the registrant receives a refund or may choose an offered credit.
Guests are allowed only when registration permits them. Events may occur at parks, pools, recreation spaces, restaurants, or other venues and may involve physical, environmental, food, travel, weather, or illness risks. Elevated-risk activities may require a separate electronic waiver.
We may take photographs or video at an event after advance notice and with a practical opt-out. We may use crowd, atmosphere, or incidental images subject to law and reasonable efforts to honor opt-outs. We will ordinarily obtain a separate release before using a Member as the prominent subject of an advertisement, testimonial, personal story, interview, or close-up feature.
20. Compass and ScamCheck
Compass is web-based and may include a recorded workshop library, ScamCheck, learning materials, and other features. It is included with Essentials, Concierge, and Virtual Workshops, and not Core unless purchased separately. Standalone Compass is $14.99 monthly.
ScamCheck is free unless a different offer is displayed. Free ScamCheck submissions and results are not saved by Find Love Safely as account history. ScamCheck activity within Compass may be stored in account history.
ScamCheck may analyze text, screenshots, images, links, or other content using automated and artificial-intelligence systems.
ScamCheck cannot determine with certainty whether something is legitimate or fraudulent. A low-concern result is not a guarantee; a warning does not prove fraud or criminal conduct. Users must not rely solely on Compass or ScamCheck for significant safety, financial, medical, or legal decisions.
Users must have the right or permission to submit content and should not submit intimate images, child sexual-abuse material, passwords, Social Security numbers, full payment-card numbers, bank credentials, medical records, or unnecessary sensitive information.
21. Account and Intellectual Property
Users are responsible for protecting account credentials. Paid access may not be shared, sold, transferred, scraped, reverse engineered, or used to create a competing product.
Find Love Safely owns or licenses its names, logos, websites, software, curriculum, recordings, videos, handouts, forms, text, graphics, databases, Compass, and ScamCheck. Users receive a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license for personal, noncommercial use.
Users may not copy, record, publish, sell, distribute, create derivative works from, train an AI system on, or commercially exploit our materials without written permission.
22. Prices and Payment
Current standard prices are: Core, $349 annually; Essentials, $1,299 annually or $129 monthly with a three-month minimum; Concierge, $2,799 annually or $259 monthly with a three-month minimum; Virtual Workshops, $89 monthly; Compass standalone, $14.99 monthly; ScamCheck, free unless otherwise displayed; add-on coaching, $150 per 60-minute session.
The checkout display controls if it differs from this summary. We do not currently add setup or administrative fees or sales tax, but may collect taxes if required.
By providing a payment method, the Purchaser authorizes Find Love Safely and Stripe to charge disclosed fees and renewals. Fees are generally charged in advance, and access may be suspended after failed or disputed payment.
23. Automatic Renewal and Minimum Commitments
Monthly memberships renew monthly and annual memberships renew annually until canceled. Before acceptance, we will display price, billing frequency, renewal frequency, minimum commitment, cancellation process, and material offer terms clearly near the purchase action.
We will provide a retainable electronic confirmation after enrollment and renewal notices when required by law.
Monthly Essentials and Concierge require three monthly payments. A cancellation submitted during the initial commitment ordinarily becomes effective after the third required payment, unless a nonwaivable right permits earlier cancellation.
24. Cancellation
A Purchaser or Member may request cancellation through the Stripe customer portal when enabled, by emailing info@findlovesafely.com, or by mailing notice to Find Love Safely, LLC, 20170 Oxboro Ln. N., Marine on St. Croix, MN 55047.
The request should identify the Member, Purchaser, account email, and Service.
Monthly subscriptions without a minimum end after the current paid month. Annual subscriptions end after the current paid year. Monthly plans with a three-month minimum end after the third required payment unless law requires earlier termination.
Access continues through the paid period unless suspended for a violation or law requires otherwise. Confirmation will be sent to the email addresses designated for account communications.
25. Refunds
Except where required by law, we do not provide prorated or partial refunds for customer cancellation, nonuse, missed Services, lack of matches, declined introductions, or termination for a violation.
If Find Love Safely permanently closes a location or discontinues a prepaid paid Service during the term and cannot provide a reasonably comparable alternative, we will issue a prorated refund for the unused portion.
Nothing limits nonwaivable cancellation, rescission, relocation, disability, death, refund, or other consumer rights.
26. State-Specific Rights
The law of a Member’s residence, Purchaser’s residence, billing address, or transaction location may provide nonwaivable rights. Those rights control over conflicting language.
The checkout may display state-specific terms based on both addresses. Any state-specific terms accepted at checkout are incorporated into this agreement.
California purchasers of covered dating services may have special cancellation, refund, disability, death, relocation, contract-duration, and disclosure rights. The exact California notice approved for the transaction must be displayed before acceptance and provided afterward.
Illinois purchasers of covered dating-referral services may have special written-contract, cancellation, refund, duration, screening-disclosure, and safety-notice rights. The exact Illinois language approved for the transaction must be displayed before acceptance and provided afterward.
Minnesota, Colorado, Massachusetts, and other consumers retain applicable automatic-renewal and consumer rights.
27. Suspension and Termination
We may refuse enrollment, restrict a particular Service, require support, suspend access, or terminate participation for any lawful reason related to eligibility, payment, conduct, safety, inaccurate information, support needs, capacity, misuse, or operations.
Measures may be tailored. Matchmaking may be paused while moderated workshops continue if we determine continued participation does not create a concern. Serious violence, threats, sexual misconduct, harassment, fraud, exploitation, retaliation, or disruption may result in suspension from all Services.
Warnings are discretionary. We may act immediately when prompt action is reasonable. Termination for a violation does not create a refund right except where required.
28. Reconsideration and Warnings
A suspended or terminated person may submit one written request for reconsideration to info@findlovesafely.com within 14 days. This is not a formal hearing, and we need not disclose private reports or internal deliberations.
When reasonably necessary for a credible safety or exploitation concern, we may warn a current Member or designated support person about restrictions involving a current or former participant, while limiting disclosure to information reasonably believed appropriate and lawful.
29. Third-Party Services and International Use
Services may rely on Stripe, GoHighLevel, offenders.io, AI providers, hosting, email and text providers, video platforms, venues, and other vendors. We are not responsible for a vendor’s independent acts, terms, privacy practices, security, accessibility, outages, or content.
Services are operated from Minnesota. International users are responsible for determining whether use is lawful where they live. We may restrict countries or regions and do not represent compliance with every foreign law.
30. Assumption of Risk
Connection, friendship, dating, online communication, events, travel, workshops, coaching, digital tools, and relationships involve foreseeable and unforeseeable risks, including rejection, emotional distress, harassment, discrimination, stalking, coercion, sexual misconduct, physical injury, illness, transportation incidents, theft, privacy violations, scams, fraud, financial exploitation, identity theft, misrepresentation, abuse, and criminal conduct.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants knowingly assume risks inherent in participating, communicating, meeting, traveling, dating, forming relationships, sharing information, and using third-party platforms.
31. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” FIND LOVE SAFELY DISCLAIMS EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, COMPATIBILITY, SAFETY, AND RESULTS.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE; THAT USER OR DATABASE INFORMATION IS ACCURATE; THAT SCREENING WILL IDENTIFY EVERY CONCERN; THAT A MEMBER WILL RECEIVE A MATCH; OR THAT HARMFUL CONDUCT WILL NOT OCCUR.
32. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIND LOVE SAFELY AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, FACILITATORS, MATCHMAKERS, COACHES, VOLUNTEERS, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, SUCCESSORS, AND ASSIGNS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; LOST OPPORTUNITIES; LOST INCOME; LOSS OF DATA; REPUTATIONAL HARM; OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM INDEPENDENT ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF MEMBERS OR THIRD PARTIES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE AFFECTED MEMBER DURING THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT OR $500.
Nothing limits liability that law does not permit to be limited, including fraud or willful misconduct.
33. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, a Purchaser, Caregiver, Support Person, or Authorized Representative acting in their own capacity will indemnify and hold Find Love Safely harmless from third-party claims arising from that person’s materially false information, unlawful conduct, violation of these Terms, unauthorized disclosure, fraud, infringement, or unauthorized commitments made for Find Love Safely.
This does not require indemnification for Find Love Safely’s conduct where prohibited.
34. Informal Resolution and Arbitration
Before arbitration or litigation, the claimant must send a written Notice of Dispute to Find Love Safely, LLC, Attn: Legal Notice, 20170 Oxboro Ln. N., Marine on St. Croix, MN 55047, and info@findlovesafely.com. The notice must identify the claimant, Member, dispute, facts, and requested resolution. The parties will attempt resolution for 30 days.
Except for eligible small-claims matters, emergency injunctive relief, and claims that cannot legally be arbitrated, disputes will be resolved through individual binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.
Arbitration may occur by video, telephone, documents, or at a reasonably convenient location. We will pay fees required by law and the Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitrator may award individual relief available in court.
35. Arbitration Opt-Out, Jury Waiver, and Class Waiver
A person may opt out of arbitration by emailing info@findlovesafely.com within 30 days after first acceptance. The subject must say “Arbitration Opt-Out” and include the Purchaser’s and Member’s names, account email, mailing address, and a clear opt-out statement.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EACH PARTY WAIVES A JURY TRIAL. CLAIMS MAY BE BROUGHT ONLY INDIVIDUALLY, NOT AS A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, MASS, PRIVATE-ATTORNEY-GENERAL, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
36. Governing Law, Venue, and Time Limit
Except where federal law or another jurisdiction’s nonwaivable law applies, Minnesota law governs.
Court proceedings not subject to arbitration must be brought in a state or federal court serving Washington County, Minnesota, unless law requires another venue.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, a claim must be brought within one year after the claimant knew or reasonably should have known of the facts. This does not shorten a period where prohibited.
37. Changes and Standard Terms
We may update these Terms prospectively and will provide additional notice or renewed consent when required or when a change materially affects recurring billing, arbitration, or significant rights.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, checkout disclosures, accepted state notices, and accepted service-specific documents are the entire agreement. Mandatory state language controls over conflicting general language.
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remainder stays effective. Failure to enforce is not a waiver. Provisions concerning payment, privacy, intellectual property, risk, liability, indemnity, and disputes survive termination.
38. Contact
General questions, billing, cancellation, safety reports, arbitration opt-outs, and legal notices may be sent to info@findlovesafely.com or mailed to Find Love Safely, LLC, 20170 Oxboro Ln. N., Marine on St. Croix, MN 55047.
Electronic Acknowledgment
By completing the electronic acceptance process, the signer confirms that they had an opportunity to review the agreement; understand recurring payment, cancellation, minimum commitment, risks, liability limits, and dispute terms; provided accurate information; and intend to sign electronically.
